Joy got me RebelStar: Tactical Command for Christmas this year, and it just came in the mail today. I’ve played through most of the introduction so far, and I like the game a lot. What attracted me to the game in the first place was how similar it was to a game that I had seen many times and always wanted to play, but never got the chance to play. Now I feel like I am finally getting that chance, and it makes the whole thing all that much better. So far the only disappointment that I have with the game is that it’s 2 player mode isn’t what I was expecting. Basically, you have to pass the GBA back and forth between the two players instead of playing somewhat simultaneously. I still want to try it out at some point though.

This afternoon Joy called me and asked me to meet up with her at the mall after she was done with work. She had to return a few things, and she wanted to see what Victoria Secret had to offer this year. We got a suprising number of things done at the mall in addition to shopping, because there is both a RadioShack and a Verizon store in the mall. I was pretty happy with the trip.
When we got home we had stuff from VS, RadioShack, and The Limited.

My blog is now being hosted on a new server. I don’t really know what this will mean in the short run, but it should be an improvement for me in the long run. I am even considering posting pictures soon. I don’t know if they will be attached to the blog or if I will set up a different site just for our pictures. I don’t really tell me family about my blog, but I’d want them to see my pictures so another site sounds like a good idea to me.

I finally got my miniMac up and running tonight. It was harder than I expected, because I didn’t have a USB keyboard on hand, and no one else I knew seemed to either. I didn’t realize that PS/2 keyboards were so common still.
So, anyway, this is my first entry written on a mac. woohoo!

Joy and I are moving in less than a week now. Things are getting interesting and tense now, because we’ve still got a lot of packing to do. Then there is also Christmas between now and the move date.

I got to thinking about communism and Marxist thought today, and I had this realization that perhaps much of what Marx wanted when he wrote The Communist Manifesto is already existant today in America or within our grasp.

Today I am retiring my laptop’s AOL Instant Messenger profile. It’s long overdue for a change. I would have just erased it, but people seemed to like it, and over time that’s gotten me to like it too.
Bye profile {waves}

I went paintballing about a month ago. A friend from UPS invited me to go with him one weekend early in October. I couldn’t go, but I told him that I was interested and that I’d definately go with him at some point within the month. It ended up being November so I decided to go the first weekend of the month.

This is old news, but I’ve been wanting to write about it for a long time too. Joy got a new job, and with that job came a company cell phone. So, Joy worked something out with her comapny to get an upgraded phone somehow, and her new phone has Bluetooth.
