I was just checking up on some Gators baskettball (12-4 Conf/ 22-7 Ov-A) and I noticed that we beat Kentucky last week. Why doesn’t anyone tell me these things!?! Am I really this busy? Man, it is good to be on Spring Break right now… I have time to catch up on important things like the Gator’s very good chance to make it into the SEC tournament this year. We might even win it!?! Wow. I wish this could have happened a year or so ago when I was there, but this is still really awesome.

Well, I guess it has finally happen. Zook is officially fired. I don’t know if we’ll take Spurrier back or not, but hopefully we find a coach that does better than this one has. I’d like to see us get a coach that we can build a decade or more upon so we don’t have to go through things like this anymore.

I drove from Orlando to Fort Myers early this evening, which was pretty much back tracking against Hurricane Charley’s path. My whole trip home was full of sights of the messes and damage that this hurricane caused.

I read about the coolest thing in the newspaper today… Actually, I had heard about it last nigt, strangely, but that’s not really important… the story is!
So, here goes…
Some 26-year-old guy was let into the Thomas Hall dorm (at University of Florida) Friday night, and he grabbed an unnamed girl by the throat from behind. HOWEVER… she hit the guy in the stomach several times, ran him back into the wall behind her, and then ran up some stairs and called the cops. The guy had a knife. UPD was there in one minute.
This is totally awesome on the parts of both the girl and the UPD!!
I love hearing about girls who hold their own against guys and call the cops instead of becoming another victim. Go nameless chicka! You rule!
