Retiring the profile
Today I am retiring my laptop’s AOL Instant Messenger profile. It’s long overdue for a change. I would have just erased it, but people seemed to like it, and over time that’s gotten me to like it too.

I guess I have to have a profile for my laptop especially now that my desktop never gets any Internet action nowadays.
Uhm… Hi… My name is David and I am using my laptop.
This means that I am on campus somewhere using their wireless Internet or at home in Fort Myers. There is also an unlikely chance that I am back in Gainesville connected to Joy’s network, but that would only be on a weekend.
